Locally owned and operated, Frontier Log Homes has been in business in Western Colorado since 1977.

Our log packages are constructed at our Montrose, Colorado facility by skilled craftsmen.

We use full round logs that are hand peeled using drawknives. Round notches are scribed and cut by hand using a hammer, chisel and chainsaw, making our homes fully hand crafted.

On site erection, window and door bucks, log stairways and log railing can be provided and installed by our crews anywhere in the nation. While we are on site providing these services, our crew will consult with your builder about any questions he may have regarding log construction.

Our full-service drafting department will be glad to assist you in designing your log home, providing a full working set of plans and structural engineering. We welcome architectural input and design if preferred by the homeowner.
